When driving Ridge Road near the high school and down the hill into Nevada City, you’ll notice signage that UUCM has “adopted” the road for litter cleanup!
About once a month, a mighty UUCM crew of 4-6 with litter collection sticks, brightly colored safety vests, and bags in hand will brave the elements and traffic to “cleanse” UUCM’s assigned roadway.
