With a new year comes our mid-year Community Business Meeting on January 26th after the service at 12:30. Agenda items include a By Laws change and voting on a Justice Task Force.
IMPORTANT: When voting for changes to the bylaws, our bylaws require 40% of membership to attend the meeting (quorum) and proxies do NOT count toward the quorum and proxy voting is NOT allowed for bylaw changes. This means we need 50 UUCM members to attend in-person or online. Please make every effort to attend.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, either in person or by Zoom, you may designate a proxy to vote on your behalf (for all motions other than bylaws). Attached is the form to designate your proxy to vote. Just have your proxy bring it to the meeting so they can receive a Proxy Voting Card in addition to their membership Voting Card. Voting may be done on Zoom, so please do NOT give your proxy to someone who its attending in person.
The meeting is open to all, but only current members may vote on bylaws changes and resolutions.
