For some of us, the winter holiday season is not joyous or jolly, it is lonely, depressing, financially challenging, laden with a deep loss, including, perhaps the painful absence of someone we have loved deeply. The holiday “cheer” everywhere can heighten one’s sense of isolation. In this gentle service of memory, music, ritual, and personal reflection, we will honor our grief and the truth of our feelings without expecting that we ought to feel anything other than what we feel.

with Rev. Kevin Tarsa and Allison Rivers
