An introduction to PATH (Peace And Truth Heals) from 6-8pm, followed by the arrival of “Nowruz”- the Iranian New Year Festival that coincides with the solar spring equinox at 8:06 and 26 seconds p.m. (PST)
The closing celebration from 8-9pm will feature the Nowruz clown- Uncle Haji Farooz— with songs, play, and music ushering in the equinox!
Peace And Truth Heals (PATH) is a speaking tour of Western U.S. & Canada by Moji Agha, an Iranian-American sufi monk (dervish) driving his nonviolence mobile. Many civil society groups & open-minded spiritual congregations host the talks (and Q/A) of this peace-pilgrim journey of civility. The truth-telling of PATH’s dialogue-based decolonization drive aims to foster nonviolence & systemic/collaborative intersectional movement-building.
