The Parkinson Association of Northern California (PANC) hosts twice-monthly support groups at UUCM: one for carepartners and another for those living with Parkinson’s. Their hope is to make it easier for partners to attend together, while giving each the support they need.
On the 1st & 4th Thursdays, PANC hosts a meeting focused on those caring for a loved one with Parkinson’s. At these carepartner-specific meetings, those who know and live this experience offer guidance on how to navigate what you are going through, how to best care for your loved one, and also take care of yourself. Here, you can relax and converse with understanding and compassionate friends.
On the 1st Thursday, PANC also offers a Parkinson’s support group for those living with PD. People come to learn and share their stories of how they face challenges and live well with PD.
