Going back to school can be a very difficult time in the life of a foster child. Help make their first day of school fun and uplifting. Help them feel like they fit in with their peers and have all the cool gear. 

Babies in foster care need items as well. Help with the transition into this world for a baby in foster care and help create the foundation of a healthy and happy future.

The UU Justice Ministry of California (UUJMCA) is back! After a few years of hiatus due to the pandemic, UUJMCA will be hosting the “Turning the Tides Justice Summit” in a virtual format over the weekend of August 9-11.

The event brings together Unitarian Universalists and other justice-seekers to discuss and collaborate on various social justice issues, such as racial justice, environmental justice, economic justice, and more.

The summit usually includes workshops, keynote speakers, and opportunities for networking and strategic planning. It’s a space for participants to gain knowledge, share experiences, and build coalitions to work towards justice and equity in their communities and beyond.
