Your Contribution Can Make a Difference!

We can grow our spiritual development through the practice of the art of giving or giving to others, donating to charity, or even volunteering a service. It can also be developed by offering our skills with utmost sincerity and dedication to those who need them. Being more generous in our actions, behaviors and personality will help in growing our personal spiritual development.
The Art of Giving

There are many opportunities to give financially to UUCM such as; make a one-time donation, make an annual stewardship pledge, give to the endowment (in memory of or in tribute to someone), and volunteer. UUCM is a tax-exempt organization under section 501c3 and all donations are tax deductible.

Please designate in the memo line whether your check is to make a general donation, to pay on your pledge (please include the pledge year), or to give to a specific fund.

Either using your bank’s online banking platform, or by visiting your bank, you can set up your UUCM contribution or Pledge as a “bill” and then relax…your bank will send a check to the church on the date(s) you specify. UUCM will get the whole amount – no fees deducted – and most banks offer this service with no charge to you, either!

Use UUCM’s Online Giving page to make a general donation, pay your pledge, or to contribute to special funds such as the Postcard Fund or the Endowment.

Contributions may be made using a credit card, savings or checking account through this form. Choose to make a one-time payment, or a weekly or monthly recurring payment. Recurring donations provide a steady stream of support. It is a great way to manage charitable giving without the worry of missing a payment– you set the frequency, select the payment method and your gift continues to give over time.

25% will automatically go to our Share-the-Plate monthly partner.

The UUCM Endowment Fund Committee manages and administers UUCM’s Endowment Fund, which was established to help sustain and grow our UUCM community and its programs over the long term.

Tax deductible contributions to UUCM’s endowment in honor or memory of an individual may be made in any amount. Please send your check (payable to UUCM) to the church address. Be sure to indicate who you are remembering or honoring on your check. The family (or honoree) will be notified of your gift, unless you request anonymity. Please provide name and mailing information for this purpose.

Share the Plate

Each month UUCM dedicates 50% of the undesignated offerings collected at Sunday services to a local organization doing good in our wider community, organizations whose work matches our Unitarian Universalist values. The Justice Team determines which organizations to support each year, with input from UUCM’s congregation. […]

Annual Pledge

Each Unitarian Universalist Church is member owned and sustained. Our annual budget allows us to live out our mission and shared values. It provides the opportunities to grow, give back and reach out. More than 90% of our budget comes from annual commitments made through pledges by UUCM members and friends.

Each spring we host our annual stewardship campaign which is vital to ensuring we continue to serve our members, our friends, and our greater community. Members and Friends are asked to complete the 2024-25 Pledge Form.

Because of your financial support, this congregation is able to continue its influence and good works in our community.
