Join the UUCM Bending the Arc Taskforce in sending out postcards targeted to Black voters in voter suppression states.
The best way to help is to join our postcard club. Members send a minimum of 20 postcards per month during a designated election cycle.
Not ready to join the club? We hold regular postcard-writing parties for peole to see what it’s like, meet other writers, get tips, and have fun while helping to surpass our original goal of sending over 18,000 cards to historically underrepresented voters!
UUCM and its friends sent over 32,000 postcards in 2024! While there are currently no active postcard-writing campaigns, we encourage you to learn about the project.

- Why should I join the club instead of just picking up individual packets?
- This lets us order and assemble adequate numbers of cards, addresses, stamps etc. needed to have packets ready to go when you need them.
- Who is organizing the postcard campaign?
- Reclaim Our Vote is a project of the Center for Common Ground, a non-partisan organization led by people of color. Their mission is to educate and empower under-represented voters in voter suppression states to engage in elections and advocate for their right to vote.
- How do I get packets?
- Club member packets are prepared in advance with your name on the packet & placed on a clearly marked table in the foyer of the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains (UUCM 246 S Church St, GV.) Packets can be picked up Sunday mornings or during regular office hours (M-W-F 8:30am-5:00pm & T-Th 8:30am-12:00pm).
How to reimburse for the cost of packets
- Actual cost to assemble the packets is $10+.
- Club members commit to 5 packets, 1 for each month March – July.
- $10 x 5 months = $50. 2 packets a month, 10 packets March – July is $10 x 10 =$100.
- Since we have already purchased the supplies, we prefer that you reimburse us for all 5 packets up front when possible.
- Three ways to pay
- Place cash with a note of amount and your name in the big jar on the postcard table
- Place a check made out to UUCM in the big jar on the postcard table (please specify “postcard club” in the memo line)
